Full Day Husky Safari for adults in Yllas Lapland, 6-7 hours

6 hours and 30 minutes

Moderate

A 35-45 kilometer dogsledding adventure for adults in a small group of maximum 5 participants.

Experience a day as a musher and drive your own team of Alaskan huskies through the snowy landscape.

Husky Ranch Lapland is a small, family-owned husky farm specialized in unique, longer husky adventures for small groups of adults. After arrival at Husky Ranch Lapland, you will be greeted by your guide and the other owner of the ranch, Juho. First, you will get quality thermal clothing including parka jacket, pants, boots and mittens. After driving instructions you are ready to meet your personal team of well-trained Alaskan huskies!  The trail heads first south of the Kurtakko village through the snowy forests and then you take a peek at Europe's biggest wetland Teuravuoma.

At the halfway point it's time to take a good break. The dogs get their halfway price first - frozen meat snacks! You will then be served delicious lunch by an open fire in our own wilderness hut!

When the break is over its time to head back to the kennel along a scenic route. After the safari, you will have plenty of time to say goodbye to your eager teammates. Before heading back to the resort there is still time for a cup of hot chocolate at the Ranch!
