The following terms and conditions are applied to our services. You will be bound by these terms and conditions after a booking confirmation has been sent to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

1.Contract:  A contract is valid only after a booking fee has been paid. 

2.Financial protection of pre-payments

We hold a lisence to act as a tour operator and as a tour broker granted by Kuluttajavirasto (Consumer Bureau of Finland) under number 2465/14/Mj,Mv.  All the companies (our company is called Skafuuri Oy) that are financially protected are listed at: https://kkv.fi/en/facts-and-advice/travelling-and-travel-agencies/register-of-package-travel-agencies/

What this means is that we have lodged a security as collateral against advance payments for package tours.  Please note that this does not cover activity payments. 

3. Payments: 100% prepayment for readymade tours and activities

Tailormade tours: 

Skafuuri Oy charges a planning fee of 50€/day for tailormade tours over 3 days long, f.ex. a tour of 5 days would be 250€. This fee will be charged before tour planning takes place. A deposit of 30% will be charged when booking is confirmed and the rest 70% 45 days before the tour start.  If a planning fee has been paid, it will be reduced from the deposit payment. 

4. Cancellation policy:

Readymade tours:

• cancellation more than 45 days before the start of the tour: 50€ cancellation fee, otherwise refunded
• cancellation 22-44 days before the start of the tour: 50% refund
• cancellation 8-21 days before the start of the tour: 30% refund
• cancellation 4-7 days before the start of the tour: 5% refund
• cancellation 0-3 days before the start of the tour: no refund 

Activities: 

• cancellation more than 28 days (=4 weeks)  before the start date of the activity: refunded
• cancellation 14-28 days (=2-4 weeks)  before the start date of the activity: 50% refund
• cancellation less than 14 days (=less than 2 weeks)  before the start of the activity: no refund
