The first accommodation is a wilderness boutique hotel for adults only is located by lake Inari so far from all illumination you can just walk out on the year to see the northern lights. New this year are the hillside aurora cabins and panorama log cabins. This is the hotel our clients have loved the most and call it even magical. 

For the first two nights, you will stay in a standard wilderness rooms and the last two in an aurora cabin. The Aurora cabin has unique atmosphere with its stunning log wooden walls. In each cabin there is king-size bed and an interior fire place. You can see the Nordic sky right from your own bed. Own bathroom with shower and toilet inside the cabin. Size of the cabins is 30 m².

Activities: 

Snowshoeing is easy but a very effective sport. If you walk on tracks it is almost like walking but in deep snow requires good condition. Alternatively, you can choose cross-country skiing. 

Snowmobile safari 4h on lake Inari with lunch sharing a snowmobile will give you time to enjoy driving on the ice of lake Inari with thousands of islands. Lunch by campfire is included on this tour and it takes place in a small group two sharing a snowmobile.

Next, you will get to the Saariselkä area on the hills, where you will stay in a services log cabin apartment. There are small one with 1 bedroom and bigger ones with 2 similar bedrooms for groups of 3-4 adults traveling together. 

Activities:

Husky safari 4h takes you on a memorable ride through the forest and over the rivers. Two people share a team of huskies. after the lunch break driver will change place with the passenger. The safari includes lunch in a Lappish hut.

Northern Lights Reindeer sleigh ride 3h in total with transfers and breaks. During our safari, you will have a break and you can feed the friendly reindeer. By a campfire you can enjoy a cup of hot drink and notice that night in the forest can be very magical. If you are very lucky you will see the spectacular Aurora Borealis. We can`t promise you will see the Northern Lights, but we can guarantee you a safari you will remember.

Ice-fishing is a very popular hobby in Finland. You will get to a wilderness lake in a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile. Your guide will show you how to jig fish and while you try to catch fish, he/she will prepare lunch. 

Last but not least, you will stay one night in an igloo type of accommodation in a cabin with a glass roof. This will give you one more chance to observe auroras comfortably from your own cabin.
