Snowshoeing is a unique way to explore the Arctic wilderness, letting you reach places you wouldn’t otherwise see and get up close to snow-covered trees and pristine landscapes 🌲🤍. Join us for a peaceful snowshoe trip through Porovaara, where the calm beauty of the snowy forest surrounds you at every step.

Along the hike, you’ll meet our reindeer in their natural habitat 🦌✨. Feed them with lichen and discover their incredible adaptations that allow them to thrive in the Arctic. Reindeer have been an essential part of life in Lapland for centuries and remain an iconic symbol of the region.

After the hike, we’ll gather around a cozy campfire 🔥☕ to enjoy a warm drink and snacks. Sitting quietly by the fire is a traditional Lappish way to relax. 😍

The Porovaara area is privately owned, so you can enjoy complete peace, privacy, and uninterrupted time in nature throughout your trip 🌿💚.

      Please note
        • The minimum number of participants required for this activity is three paying guests.
        • This activity depends on snow. If the snowshoeing activity is cancelled because of the lack of snow in early winter (November-December) or late spring (April), the refund is 100%.
        • You need to bring suitable underwear, e.g. a warm layer.
        • You can take your camera and phone along for the activity.
        • Duration of 3 hours includes the transport time needed to arrive to our location and to return to the pick-up place.
        • Pick-ups 10 km from Rovaniemi city center are included in the price. Pick-ups further than 10 km from city center are possible with extra fee ( + 2 €/km), which can be paid to the guide
