Our ecological cycle tour starts from Helsinki at midday. The first destination is the village of Boxby in the middle of the South-Eastern countryside. On the way, you will stop to have lunch at an old villa. You will arrive to the herb plantation and guesthouse late afternoon and get your rooms. After welcome coffee, you will take a guided tour at the plantation and learn to grow herbs at home.

Next day you will cycle to Porvoo taking a short city sightseeing by bike before taking the bikes and your luggage to the hotel. Lunch is served in one of the old town restaurants. Otherwise, the afternoon spent as you like shopping or enjoying the atmosphere. In the evening you will prepare a vegetarian dinner with a local chef using your fresh herb knowledge.

You will return to Helsinki by ship taking your bicycles onboard. M/s Runeberg only departs in the afternoon so you have time for a cycle tour to the beautiful seaside nature around Porvoo or visit the art, design and craft shops and museums in town. Note! In May, late August and September M/s Runerberg does not have cruises. Return can take place by bus or by bicycle.
