Summertime biking, hiking, canoeing

Tour de Pyhä is a program that consists of mountain biking around lake Pyhäjärvi (12km), canoeing along the small river Pyhäjoki (6km) and hiking a sightseeing route back to starting point or Soutaja fell (7km). We will also enjoy light lunch and coffee on the side of the river. The journey is an overall experience of physical activities and a sense-awakening and relaxing nature exploration. Let`s enjoy quality time outdoors together, with a suitable pace for all participants.

If you prefer changing the bike to an electric version, you can upgrade booking an extra during the booking process! (50 €/ person)


There are two route option. Let us know which one you prefer

Full day  (30km / 7-8 h)

        Min. age of participation is 10 years. Max. group size is 6 people. 

        Lucky Ranch is located near Pyhä-Luosto National park at the lake Pyhäjärvi, only 10 minutes drive from the year-round activity resort and ski resort Pyhätunturi. You reach us by car, or when booking a tour with us, you can book pick up (return transfer) either from Pyhätunturi or Luosto. 

        The nearest airport is in Rovaniemi, approximately 1,5 – 2 hours' drive to Pyhätunturi, and the nearest railway station is in Kemijärvi from where there is a bus connection to Pyhätunturi. (Please always check the public timetable in advance. We are also glad to help you with planning your trip to us!) Welcome!  

        What to bring

          Basic sports outfit, water bottle, biking helmet, backpack. 

          During wintertime, please wear warm winter clothing: we highly recommend merino wool underlayer, fleece/ wool mid-layer, woolen socks, a warm hat, warm gloves, and a scarf/neckwarmer. If you need anything, please ask in advance. We might have some spare winter clothes to borrow.
