The hiking trips organized by Ivalo Trek Lapland suit for people used to the regular exercise. Hiking in the land of the Midnight Sun is ideal for nature lovers and nature photographers

We would be pleased to take you to one of the largest national parks in Finland, to the Urho Kekkonen National park (UKK-National park). We pick up you from your hotel in Saariselkä Resort or Ivalo village and drive to Kiilopää Fell Centre. We start to hike from Kiilopää Fell Centre which is one of the gates to the national park. On the top of the Kiilopää Fell, you could see over the UKK-National Park and on good weather even over the Russian border. We pass by beautiful Kiilopää Fell, unique spillways of geological Jääjärvi Ice Lake, one of the most popular day-hike destinations the Rumakuru Gorge and Ahopää Fell. We enjoy a picnic outdoors or depending on the weather in the wilderness cottage. After the picnic, we return to the Kiilopää Fell Centre and drive by car back to your hotel. The day´s hiking route is quite easy to hike.
