Self-guided canoe trip for families, Saariselka 4 hours
River Tankajoki is an easy and narrow river that flows slowly in the woods and between wetlands. This river is suitable even for the beginners and perfect for families.
The journey begins from Tankapirtti and ends at the Sámi village of Purnumukka. We drive you and the gear to the starting point and pick up after 4 hours from the finishing point. River is easy to paddle and there is no rapids, beginners and families can manage this river easily eventough we recommend that you have some experience with canoeing.
The price is including a canoe for 2 persons, you can also have an extra seat for small children (4-12 years old) + transfers. You will also get lifevests, paddles, bailer, some robe and waterproof barrels for your own gear.
Reserve some water/other drink and snack (or even light lunch) and have a nice day with canoeing in the wilderness of Lapland!
