Additional information

• Duration of the program is about 3-4 hours. It is suited for adults as well as children.
• In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
• Children and adults without a drivers’ license can join the safari by sitting on the sledge.
• 2 adults share 1 snowmobile. If the number of people in the group is an odd number, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity. Single driving is available as supplement for adults.
• Children 4-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
• If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
• The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.
• Should the temperature fall below -20°C, we regret to inform you that, for the safety of your child, participation in this activity by snowmobile will not be possible. In such cases, the ice fishing experience will be conducted by car, followed by a one-hour snowmobile ride after the fishing.
• Your safety is our highest priority. At the beginning of the season, due to potential concerns regarding ice thickness, the ice fishing experience may need to be carried out by car, with a separate one-hour snowmobile ride scheduled afterwards.

• Meeting point: Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 8). Meeting time at 9:00
• Meeting point: Snowmobile Park Safari House (Joulumaantie 5). Meeting time at 9:00
• Please note, the meeting times are indicative. We will inform you of the exact meeting time by email the day before. If you do not receive this email, please contact the service provider.
• Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded.

09:05 – Transportation from the City Center departs.
9:30 – Office and winter clothing
10:00 – Start driving to the lake
10:45 – Arrive at the lake
12:00 – Start driving back to office
13:00 – Activity ends and drop-off

Good to know

• Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance.
• If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded. Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
• Alcohol consumption is not allowed during the tour, and guests cannot participate if intoxicated.
